Gerd Aurell and Helena Wikström

If there is a destruction of religious “meeting houses” around the world – it is possible to build new ones at Box Sculpture Park. Admittedly in a small play scale but yet, it is not the size that is important in times of praying. Gerd Aurell´s and Helena Wikström´s mosques contain a mix of politics, religion and violence, which makes the interactive play to seem less innocent than what it really is.
